Challenge
We were approached by different speed skating athletes to support with the concept development and launch of their new team. There were 5 athletes, 1 coach and a strong vision, but no name, brand visuals, online presence, communication strategy. That’s where we came in!
Branding
We always start the branding process by determining the positioning which is the starting point upon which all marketing activities are based. We sat down with the athletes to understand their vision, values and mission. Based on this we researched other professional (sport) teams, did a deep dive into the fans and potential sponsors and translated their vision into a strong brand identity and team name that they resonated with.
Content Creation
Content is king! Having the right content elevates the visual identity if it is in line with the brand identity and used in the right places.
Together with different talented photographers and videographers we are able to capture the pure essence of Team Novus. From professional team photos to unfiltered reels and behind the scenes content, everything you see on the social media channels encapsulates the team's brand values; authentic, innovative, diverse, united and limitless.
Social Media
Based on the conversations with the athletes and our research into the speedskating world, we created a social media strategy and advice plan pre- launch and post launch. We also continue to manage all social media channels for the team.
By staying close to the Team Novus values, we have been able to create a distinctive brand within the skating world. With over 3.000 followers, reels with over 15.000 views and reaching more than 30.000 accounts monthly, their Instagram account is one you'll want to follow.
